Kernel Tools EngineerThanks for visiting chez moi. This site contains resources relating to who I am and what I do that is computing and non-computing related. Navigation links above provide access to a brief biography, as well as an active blog, and a number of other pieces of information. The links are all at the top of this page, if you want random details. I started my first degree aged 13 and am often described as a computer geek, although I also enjoy a wide range of non-computing related activities (playing the violin, singing semi-professionally, travel, going cycling around random cities in the middle of the night, walking, climbing, and much much more). I spend a lot of my working time hacking on Linux kernel tools and other time hacking on random Embedded Linux devices. My writing includes technical columns for Linux User & Developer, Linux Magazine, and others. I've contributed to one O'Reilly book, am currently writing another, and have recently finished writing Professional Linux Programming for Wiley. I am experienced in Linux Kernel Engineering, UNIX Systems Administation, Embedded Systems Programming, Networking, Security, and various additional areas. I am now the maintainer of module-init-tools. flickr has recent photos. Historical photos are on my older gallery. Dates and Events (see more...)
